Veil

Embroidered it with a shimmering starry trail.
Entwined the earth in its amorous embrace,
Then wistfully melted away without a trace.

I wrote this micro verse for a prompt-based contest. The prompt was to weave a verse around ‘veil.’ This verse was chosen as one of the winners.
